Last week we went to Broken Bow, Oklahoma for fall break. G gets a week off so we decided to make the most of it! It’s only a three hour drive for us, so it’s a quick and easy get away. We stayed at the prettiest cabin and just had a great time. If you’re in Texas and haven’t been, there are a lot of family friendly things to do there. There’s a state park you can hike and explore, they have a petting zoo, a cute little train around the park. In the nearby town, there is mini golf, bowling, breweries, shops. It’s just a fun little getaway!
Since we were in the woods (ish) I brought my J.Crew Barn Jacket. Of course it’s just barely fall so I paired it with some shorts and tall boots. I love that boots + shorts is in this fall. Such a throwback to when I first started KE, too. (Does anyone here remember those Steven Madden boots we all wore into oblivion??) This jacket was perfect for the cool mornings and evenings, but otherwise it was jacket-less weather.
