Look, I basically bought this skirt because of the outfit J.Crew styled online. Yep — they did it. The styling and marketing department got me. I’m a sucker for J.Crew styling and I knew I could recreate this whole look with what I had in my closet. I was a bit apprehensive about the light yellow color but it’s absolutely beautiful. So with my trusty white tee and this oversized blazer, I styled this outfit just like on the model. I was hoping it would work in real life and I’m thinking that it does. The black and the yellow work so well balancing each other and I added in my dark chocolate flats and purse, just to break up the darker hues.
What do you think? Does it work in real life or is it just a J.Crew fever dream? I’m thinking it works.

This is my FAVORITE oversized blazer I’ve found. It’s under $100 and fits oversized in the most perfect way. It’s still fitted at the shoulders but it hangs oversized and loose. It’s quite flattering too because it keeps its tailored shape. You can find it via Shopbop here.
