What I Wore Last Week-ish

Hi friends! We’ve got spring break this week so I’m proud of myself for actually getting dressed lol. We had a lot of parks and play dates and some spring break shopping! But if I’ve been a bit quiet around here, that’s why! We had about a 50º weather swing over the week and I am cranky. We’ve gone from a 90º day to 40º and I am over it. I don’t want summer but I certainly don’t want fall. Does anyone remember spring or is that gone forever along with autumn? *single tear drops*

Friday | WFH + Friend’s Soccer Game

Friday was a work from home but then we all went to my best friend’s son’s last high school soccer game! It was a warm day so the sleeveless tank (I rented) was very nice to wear. I always think when is a sleeveless sweater needed and honestly for me there are like just a few months that it works. March is one of those months so I’m running with it while I have this sweater tank. Also it’s the spanx jeans again — love love love them.

Saturday | Date Night

We had a quick little date night at our favorite Mexican food restaurant! I tossed on my favorite pants + tee and it was the cutest combo. I’ve been pinning some interesting spring color combos on Pinterest to tryand this yellow and chocolate brown was a winner. Easy peasy outfit!

Sunday | Family Hang Out

I wore this skirt (which is on sale right now!) and my new sweater from Quince. It’s my favorite sweater from them I think — it’s 100% cotton and it’s a really nice weight. I’m in the large for a slouchy fit but I also have this sweater in medium and it’s a relaxed true fit. I’m in the medium of the skirt — it runs loose! On sale through Saturday!

Monday | WFH / Spring Break

You would be correct in thinking that I am repeating this sweater over and over lately. It’s just an easy top to toss on and feel pulled together. The yellow hue is going in and out of in-stock at Gap, but there are a few other colors as well! Find it here.

I tried the size up in the Levi’s Baggy jeans and I like this fit better! In my true to size (30) they were a bit too tight at the waist, but this is how they’re supposed to fit. So for me I went up a size for a looser fit and really like them now! I don’t think that they’re the most flattering for my body shape, but oh well! I’ve always got my spanx jeans.

Tuesday | WFH

I can’t remember which day was cold and I might have had my days swapped but one day it was freezing again for us! I just re-wore the outfit from Friday but with a denim jacket! Why fix something that isn’t broken you know? Also I rented this jacket from Nuuly (it’s Anthro) — it’s cute! I think after wearing it I started feeling very 80s vibes with it. But it’s a cute take on a denim jacket and very oversized / slouchy.

Wednesday | Patio + Park

Please ignore my mess. The first thing to go on spring break is the daily pick up. We all promised each other we would pick up everyday and by Wednesday we all knew that we had lied to each other. So you know what? There’s some mess in these photos this week and that’s ok 🙂

We found a fun little park + wine bar situation so we sat outside on Wednesday and patio’d and played! It was so fun and we will be back. Can you believe it’s shorts weather already? Honestly I’m still in the ‘my legs feel naked’ stage of spring but it’s been so warm here. I do really like this pair of shorts from Anthro. They’re similar to some from Reformation, but a bit cheaper. I’m trying to decide if I would wear them $100 worth…I still have a few weeks so we will see. Anyways, I’m in the large and they run true.

Thursday | Coffee shop + shopping

I snuck away and went to a coffee shop before our very fun shopping trip. Spring break always equals shopping to me! Maybe this is when we would spring shop when I was in school but I’ve carried on the tradition. I wore these Madewell jeans that I LOVE and highly recommend. They’re super soft and very easy to wear. I think they look ok with my mesh flats too! You can find them on sale through tomorrow I believe!
