The other day on stories, a food creator I follow shared her favorite jeans from Quince. But they didn’t look like any I owned. She said they were ‘THE viral’ pair so I clicked through, of course *pulls down imaginary glasses to get a closer look* only to realize I didn’t own these jeans. This is unacceptable, as I am the self-proclaimed queen of Quince jeans. At least in my own home, that is. So into my cart they went and I am now the proud owned of another pair of Quince jeans. And yes, they are my new favorite.
This is the Luna Wide Leg jean and I don’t know how I missed this pair. It’s the perfect wide leg jean, but not *too* wide leg. It’s a mid-rise fit and the leg fits a touch straighter through the hips than the Bella. I’ve been a long time believer of the Bella relaxed straight jean (it’s my favorite) but I’ve also loved the Bella Wide Leg and the Kick Flare and the Barrel. I’ve tried them all, my friends. But the Luna gives a more casual relaxed fit and VERY stretchy, which I love. I find all Quince denim to have very similar fabrics, so they feel similar but perhaps a touch stretchier than the Bella.
I am in the 30 and there is only one inseam, so you’re looking at it. I love the length on these, very versatile and easy to wear with flats. I would say true to size with a mid-rise fit! Find them for $50, always, here.
What’s the Difference Between the Bella and the Luna?
Now I haven’t done a scientific research on this but from my aesthetics-only perspective, the Bella is a bit curvier on the hips, that is if you have curves. (I don’t think they’re adding curves on their own!) While the Luna seems to be a longer, leaner wide leg and fits straighter at the hips for me. Both pairs say they’re ’70s inspired’ on the site and both have a varying degree of stretch. But for me, I prefer the look and length of the Luna jean, as I find it to be a bit more flattering for me. Also if you prefer a mid-rise to a high rise, it’s the Luna for you. Do you prefer a high-rise? It’s the Bella.
You can find the Bella Wide Leg here.

This post should be about my vest that I’m equally into, but that’s for another day. But you can find it via Quince as well. (I sized up!)

I really appreciate how you break down whether these viral jeans live up to the hype—it feels like advice from someone who’s actually worn them. Your balance of price, fit, and everyday wearability makes the review both trustworthy and useful.
I love how detailed your review is—it really helps me understand the fit and differences between the Luna and Bella jeans. Makes me feel confident trying the Luna for a casual, flattering look!
