Hi friends! This week FLEW by but in the slowest way. Do you know what I mean?
We spent the week recovering from a very busy weekend. We had a couple of birthday party invites (one for Gemma, one for us) and a sleepover and by the time Sunday night rolled around I was exhausted. I usually spend my weekends doing laundry, prepping for the next week but this weekend wasn’t one of those weekend. It was fun, but I do miss my routine when I get out of it. Oh and I finally got all of Gemma’s gifts ordered (this is early for me, if you can believe! I’m a professional putter-offer when it comes to Christmas.)
I also started my period this week so the outfits matched the energy, if you get what I’m saying. I was not interested in pants with buttons for most of the week. You’ll be able to see my descent into leggings throughout the outfits. Is this my most exciting WIWLW-ish? No. But is it the most comfortable? Absolutely.

I love this jacket! It runs true to size for boutique sizing, so I’m in the large here and it fits relaxed. Perfect for me! It’s so so soft, too. I love a faux fur but sometimes they’re too bulky and this one is a nice weight.

Sweater | Drawstring Jeans | Flats
I was gifted these drawstring jeans by Shop Avara and I can’t sing their praises enough. They’re super soft and yes, a drawstring. But the fabric is still very much still denim, just incredibly soft denim. Remember skinny jeans when they got really soft and stretchy? Before the took them away from us? It’s like that. I’m in the 30 and they fit perfectly loose. Under $100, too!
Been wearing this sweater at least 2x a week lately. It’s comfy and just works with everything. On sale here!!
Friday | Errands / Shopping Trip
Pullover Sweater | Pants | Flats
I wore this to work from home of course but then I also got out to find some goodies at J.Crew Factory (and boy did I!) This pullover is a new one from Quince and I love it! I’m in the medium and it’s a looser fit. It’s so soft and warm. Probably too warm for this day, because I remember sweating by the afternoon in this one. Gotta love Texas ‘winters’. Anyways, these pants are weirdly enough from Amazon and I love them. I’ve been looking for a black trousers and wildly enough these check all of my boxes. I’m in the large, perfect loose fit.

Same sweater, different day 😉 I told you I love this one. This was just one of those outfits I tossed on because all the pieces were right there and luckily it worked well. This coat is also on sale at Madewell right now! I’m in the medium, it runs loose.
Sunday | Couch Rotting

Leggings + sweaters = the best couch rotting outfit outside of pajamas, of course. This sweater is still one of my favorite finds from Old Navy this season. You can find it on sale here!Â
Also these clogs are the best! I’ve been wearing them nonstop since I bought them in October. So comfortable and easy to wear this winter. (When it’s colder out, I wear some tall socks with them, too.)

I love the color of this sweater — it’s just so pretty and happy! I’ve never had my colors analyzed (probably won’t because I’ll take it way too far) but I do feel like I kind of pop in colors like this. The good news is that this sweater is back in stock and in more colors, too! Find it here.Â

Gap Cardigan | Pants | Clogs
These pants came in the mail this week and boy was it right on time. I bought some stuff from Gap over BFCM and I’m so excited for everything to come in. I’ve been loving Gap lately. So this is the CashSoft sweater pants from Gap and I can’t tell you how much I love these pants. I have them in brown as well. They’re so comfortable and perfect for the next few weeks. I bought the matching top too, it just hasn’t come in yet. So I paired it with this very cozy cardigan and it was the perfect PMS outfit, I’m telling you. (I’m in the large of both, the cardigan runs big though!) Both are on sale, 50% off at Gap!
Thursday | WFH + Salon Day
Amazon Pullover | Leggings | Clogs
Yesterday, I went to get my hair cut + colored and I definitely did not feel like leaving the house. I couldn’t will myself to put jean son, so I recycled an outfit I’ve worn a few times and it was perfect. I try my best to get dressed everyday and to look cute, especially if I’m leaving the house. But when my period hits, I’m doing good to just get out of bed you know? And while this isn’t the most fashionable outfit ever, I knew that this outfit felt good on and was period friendly. Plus a few people complimented my pullover! When it works, it works, you know?
