What I Wore Last Week-ish

Hi friends! I meant to get this post up on Friday but I was helping my parents move and even though I got the post ready, I forgot to hit publish. How very type B of me. So anyways, here are my outfits from the last week or so. Lots of neutrals lately and honestly, I’m trying. I’m trying to add in more color but I keep finding things online, buying them and trying them…then hating them. I swear I’m trying to add in more color but the neutrals keep winning me over. Hope you like neutrals because it’s what I got 😉

Thursday | Patio Drinks w/ a friend

I won’t lie I am waiting for pool days to really use this dress. If I know me, I just know this is going to end up as a pool dress. We have to go through a lobby and cafe when we go to our pool and I like to go in wearing more of an outfit than just a beach coverup. But in the meantime, it’s the cutest little dress and it’s on sale through today! I’m in the medium, fit is loose.

Friday | WFH

I love these pants! I found them for soccer games but now I’ve been wearing them over and over lately. No notes on these. Absolutely love them. I’m in the large and they’re a touch fitted at the waist but overall true to size for me. Find them here!

Saturday | Date Night

I know you’re gonna get sick of these pants but I hope not because I love them! I love wearing them too. They run generously so I can wear them a little lower on my hips and get about an inch of extra length which is nice for heels. (I’m in the large) These are on sale at J.Crew through today! I’ve had a few questions asking if they wrinkle when I sit — yes, there are creases at the hips but it’s not as wrinkly or delicate as linen. They are like a normal trouser, but the creases smooth out as you wear them. Still linen, but with a bit more structure if that makes sense!

My top is linen and I love the fit. This is exactly what I look for in a top, it’s loose but tailored and not too tight on the arms. Would buy in ever color! Find it here. (I’m in the large, nice relaxed fit for me.)

Monday | Coffee Shop

This cashmere-cotton tee is back in stock! I’m so excited — I ended up keeping this one; I was on the fence because I was afraid I had too much of this color but it’s reading more cream than yellow. I’m in the large, it’s a relaxed fit! Slightly sheer in the light colors, but okay with a nude bra.

My polka dot pants are back! But guess what!? I found an identical pair for under $40 from Loft!

Tuesday | WFH

Just an easy outfit for the day. I didn’t really have any thing going on so I put on a comfortable pair of jeans and this shirt was the first one I reached for. Easy pease but a classic tailored look. I’m in the large of the top and the jeans!

Wednesday | School Event + Coffee Date

I reached for this skirt and this lightweight sweater for an easy pairing. I love love love these shoes — they’re mesh with an embellished strap so they look a bit more elevated than just a mesh flat. I found them here on sale, too! Comfortable from the get, too!

Thursday | WFH

Okay I won’t lie this outfit was a bit of a swerve. Both of these pieces are more activewear but I didn’t want to wear sneakers so I paired them with my new mesh flats and my Clare V crossbody. And honestly? Not as weird of a combo than I thought it would be?? The black skirt doesn’t read as active wear so I don’t mind the look. What do you think?

I really love this sweatshirt, it’s a cotton blend and I like that it’s lightweight but structured. I am in the large and it’s a slightly oversized fit for me. I’m in the large of the skort, more fitted overall.
