I should change that to What I DID buy from Gap because…I did. I bought all the things you see below, which exception to the sweatshirt because I went into the store wearing the identical sweatshirt and your girl needs limits. Four off white sweatshirt is okay, five is a cry for help.
Gap has been giving me early 2010s vibes — not so much the style but the pieces themselves. Nice quality, good fit and things that I’m actually excited to wear. I used to LIVE in Gap back in the day but they kind of fell off for me at least, for the better part of a decade. But we are back baby and I’m excited.
Here are a few things I did buy + recommend buying from Gap! Also they’re never not having a sale and the current one is 40% off some items, ends tonight!

Canvas Barn Jacket
I loved this jacket so much! Even though I need another jacket like a hole in my head but that has never stopped me before. (See sweatshirt convo above.) So this is a waxed fabric with corduroy collar and sleeves but it’s quite soft. It’s padded inside, it’s thicker than I was expecting. It runs very oversized but you can cinch the waist as well. it’s really well constructed!
I am in the small here so just know it runs big! I’m usually a medium in oversized jackets for reference. Find it here.
Honorable mention: I love Gap’s tees right now. This one is $20 for 100% cotton! I got the medium, TTS. Find it here.

Mixed Media Dress
This is a great dress for Thanksgiving or family photos. It is a stretchy sweater top and a layered cotton skirt that are sewn together. Now it is shown as a drop waist and maybe on someone else it is, but I really liked it when I pulled the waist up and made the sweater look like the skirt is kind of ‘tucked’ under it. It’s so comfortable and if you wear it this way, it’s quite flattering / easy to wear. Just my two styling cents!
I tried both the medium and large but felt most comfortable in the large. I do think it runs TTS, but I wanted more wiggle room in the chest. Find the dress here.

Gap Reversible Sherpa Jacket
I guess I was in the mood for outerwear because here is a reversible fleece jacket. I love it – once again it’s really well constructed and the fabric feels nice. On par with lululemon, alo yoga pieces. The inside can be reversed with a quilted waterproof fabric. I love the two options bc sometimes I don’t feel like a sherpa fabric ya know?
I am in the medium, it runs generously. Find the jacket here.

Gapfit Tech High Rise Joggers
I loved and bought this pair of joggers. I don’t care if joggers are out, they’re in for me. I’ve never bought this fabric from Gap beofre but it’s their tech pant. It’s a light weight stretchy fabric, but it is fairly lightweight so probably not for cold weather areas. The hem has a zipper so if you don’t like the jogger look, you can make them straight leg, too! I am in the medium and they fit perfectly. Definitely recommend! Find them here.
Honorable mention: The sweatshirt. I liked the weight, the color and the feel of the fabric but it just didn’t do anything for me! It runs big — this is the medium. Find it here.
