What I Wore Last Week-ish

(…and also this week, too!) I’ve gotten off of my schedule with WIWLW-ish…which surprises none of us. But the good news is I’ve been very good at taking selfies of my outfits before I leave the house. Just not great at remembering to post them. I’ve got lots of outfits from the past week, so let’s get to them!

I would tell you more about my week last week but I honestly don’t remember. I’m not taking medical opinions about this topic at this time. But I can tell you what I did this week — I got my pre-loved shop all ready to go! November’s drop is live, if you love barely used second hand pieces 🙂

TUESDAY, WORK @ COFFEE SHOP

I can’t keep up with our weather. I believe this day was cold and so I layered up, even with a coat. But who’s to say? I’ve just started wearing sweaters no matter. It’s fall o’clock somewhere. Also I’m always cold during this time of the year, no matter where I go. This sweater is VERY cozy and did the job. I just got it, so I was taking it for a spin with this outfit.

I’m in the 30 of the Quince jeans. I find they run a bit snug in the waist but overall true to size! I am in the medium of the zip up — it’s plenty relaxed. Super soft, too!

My bag is old See by Chloe (the Olga Backpack). BUT I’ve found a similar look at Quince here.

I am in the medium of the sweater — it runs generously. It’s a heavier cotton, a really nice knit on this one. I like the boatneck and it’s different than other sweaters I’ve been buying (look at you crew necks). And these pants are the best, truly. Whenever I’m feeling bloated or just meh, these are the pants. They’re a very stretchy and forgiving ponte. I am in the 10 and I find they run snug.

11/10 recommend these Sam Edelman flats. They’re padded inside, so they’re comfortable all day. They’ve never once rubbed on my back ankle. Truly the perfect pair.

Someone recently asked me about my favorite tees to wear under sweaters and lately I’ve been loving the options from Gap. This 100% cotton one is on sale for $20 right now and is a perfect layering tee. I wear the medium and it fits perfectly.

FRIDAY, WFH + PIZZA NIGHT
OLD NAVY SWEATER | GAP JEANS | old MADEWELL LOAFERS | QUINCE BAG

This is that Old Navy sweater I was talking about! It’s so Sezane, you guys. I took the small but probably need the medium. Did that stop me? Absolutely not. Shamelessness knows no limits. But yeah, it obviously runs a bit generously if I’m in the small.

I love this little outfit, the barrel jeans fit just right. I’m in the 30, they’re high rise, all cotton, no stretch. If that sounds fun to you, find them here. 

SATURDAY, ERRANDS
DOLAN FLEECE JACKET | GAP TECH PANTS | ZARA TEE | ADIDAS SAMBAS

My jacket is from this month’s Nuuly but I found a very similar one in a different hue from J.Crew Factory.  

I’ve been wearing these pants non-stop since I picked them up. They’re so comfortable! I am int he medium, they’re a generous fit.

SUNDAY, DATE NIGHT
J.CREW SWEATER | QUINCE SILK PANTS | OLD VINCE FLATS (SIMILAR)

I am in the large of the sweater, it fits loosely! I like this size for me though, so if you want a looser fit go up one size. On sale right now at J.Crew, too!

I am in the large of the silk pants, I sized up for a looser / longer fit. Love how they fit on me. The waist is a drawstring and it is adjustable. These are going to be nice to have going into the holidays; they’re an easy ‘festive’ pant without being festive you know? Like pair a red sweater with these and boom — festive.

Anyways, I wore these for a date night! Such a comfy but chic look.

MONDAY, COFFEE DATE W/ FRIEND

So unfortunately this sweater is sold out in the pink/brown stripe, which is unfortunate because it’s so darn cute. But the good news is there are like 20 other variations that I’m sure would work out for you, if you really like this sweater. Now this years version of the Rollneck sweater from J.Crew is much more slinkier / oversized than previous years. I am in the medium and it fits very generously. Find it here! 

It never fails, every single time I go out to dinner or coffee with a friend I forget to snap a photo or story it. Until I get home and think oh I should…share..that.. and realize I did not document at thing. I yapped. I yapped and yapped, but not one photo was snapped. So did I go on a coffee date with a friend? You’ll just have to trust me that I have friends.

QUINCE SWEATER | MADEWELL JEANS | ROTHY’S CLOGS

This sweater is the best dupe for a Frank and Eileen sweater that I’ve found. It’s under $50 too. I sized up in this one and love the fit. (I also have it in navy!) Also do not sleep on these Rothy’s clogs! They are literally my favorite shoe right now besides those Sam Edelman suede flats. These are so much more comfortable than the Boston clogs. Old Navy Sweater | old Anthro Pants | Similar Nude Flats

I’m obsessed with this color right now. I just bought this Old Navy sweater and also one from Quince. Am I ok? No. But I will be un-okay in a nice olive green sweater and some how that makes it better.

These two don’t really go together therefore they go together, you know what I mean? This color of the sweater is not represented in the pants in any way and yet they coordinate. That’s on color theory, I’m sure. I’m assuming anyways. I went to business school so what do I know?

Also these are old Collette Pants from Anthro. They come out with all sorts of patterns every few months. This is this month’s flavor. 

I’m in the medium of the sweater — fit is perfect. I’m in the 28 of the pants and they’re so tight why did I buy this size. I’m typically a 29 or 30 in Colette pants for reference.
