Spring is my favorite season at J.Crew, and every year they find a way to surprise me. Right now their site is full of incredible texture and color, some of which I genuinely didn’t see coming (a neon pink cashmere sweater? Yes, really). Since we’re not quite there yet seasonally, I took three of their sweaters for a spin and came back with plenty of thoughts. Three very different styles, each one earning its place in my wardrobe for completely different reasons. Here’s a closer look at what makes each one worth considering for your spring rotation.

This sweater is just as vibrant as it looks, it’s a stunning neon pink that feels (surprisingly) quite refined thanks to the cashmere fabric. It has this beautiful, luxurious feel with a relaxed, slightly oversized fit. I’m wearing the medium here, and I’m so happy with how the fit turned out. I was hoping for exactly this kind of effortless, laid-back silhouette, and boy does it delivers! It’s also available in several other gorgeous colorways, if you aren’t into a neon geranium color.
Fits oversized in the best way.

I’ve had my eye on this sweater vest for a while now, and I finally settled on the navy for spring. I was debating between cream and this color, but I’ve been making a conscious effort to branch out beyond white and off-white pieces. Let’s just say my closet has a bit of a white top problem! So, navy it is! Very brave, I know. 😉
I’m wearing the medium here as this runs very loose and relaxed. It’s fitting me more like a large, so I’d recommend sizing down if you prefer a more fitted look.

Ah yeas, my search for the perfect polo continues, and this one is pretty close to what I’ve been looking for! It’s a cashmere sweater with a surprisingly structured feel, quite thicker than I was thinking but works well for spring. The broader shoulders are what really make this work for me, as they lend a relaxed, oversized look that I love. I’m wearing the medium and it fits very loosely, so keep in mind that I typically fall between a medium and a large when sizing.
