I love a sweater dress for fall and winter but sweater dresses don’t always love me back. It’s a sad reality but I carry on. Why you ask? Well not all sweater dresses are made equal and I find it hard to find the right fit for my body type. I want it to be fitted, but not too tight. Short but appropriate, and heavy forbid I don’t want it to cling. In walked this option from Quince and I am thrilled to say it checks every box for me.
I am in the large and really like this fit for me. If you have curves or bigger boobs or are tall, go up a size for the best fit. If big boobs aren’t your deal, then you’ll be fine with your regular size. You can find this dress in many different hues here!
(I love the camel, as seen here but that dark brown is gorgeous too! You can’t go wrong with the black but I will steer you away from the grey. I find the grey to be the most unforgiving in sweater dresses.)
I just almost listed these loafers in my pre-loved shop then realized I can get so much wear out of them this fall! I think I was just a season too early when I got them. But now they’re in heavy rotation already. They’ve kind of replaced my ballet flats, for now anyways. This is a pair from J.Crew, but you can find a similar from Quince.
