B and I have a standing date every Sunday afternoon or evening. We typically shoot a little and then grab a happy hour or dinner. It’s been really fun to turn what usually is a content shoot into a date night, plus I’m already dressed and ready to go. I was particularly excited to wear and shoot this outfit because this top is everything I want in a date night look. We typically hit up our old downtown haunts, so I don’t go too fancy with my fits but a cute little feather fringe top? Perfect. It’s just the right amount of zhush or whatever you’d call this style. Pairing it with denim brings it all back into place, too. I literally envisioned this outfit when I saw this top in store. I knew it belonged with a pair of flare jeans and boy was I spot on. It gives it that retro feeling right? (Also there is a small bit of inspo from Josey in ‘Never Been Kissed’ but in the best way. Her feather jacket when she first gets to school is giving the same energy as this top, no?)
