I try not to use too much sales talk or pushy language around here because I don’t find it to be that serious. But sometimes I do feel very passionate about some things and this pair of shoes is one of those things. I have this exact pair of shoes from last year in a really cute kelly green (Seen here also on sale!) and I have loved them. Unfortunately for me, I bought them a half size down and that was dumb because they’re a true to size fit. So wearing them for longer period of time hurt in a way that I think is probably going to be damaging long term. So you’ll be seeing these beauties in the resell shop later this fall. Which makes me sad because they are my FAVORITE sneaker to wear. They’ve replaced my golden goose, my Veja’s — like these are the ones I grab for everything. So when I saw them at the Nordstrom sale I was thrilled!
But then I saw the two colors — baby pink and blue — and I was less than thrilled. But then I saw them in person, thrilled again! It’s more of a denim blue than a baby blue and I will take it. The shoe itself is neutral enough and the blue works well with denim. If you’ve been wanting to try the chunky dad sneaker trend (and even if you haven’t!) this is such an easy sneaker to wear. The ankle hits in the right place, the tongue isn’t too stiff and it’s the right break on your leg so it’s very flattering. Sneakers can be tricky — sometimes they are too chunky or the tongue comes up too high and it makes your leg look bulky, but these get it. I could sing the praises for the New Balance 530 all day. OH and they’re comfortable, too! As long as you get them in your size. (The 10 fits me perfectly.)

As far as my matching set goes, this is the one from Amazon! I’m in the large and prefer this fit. I’ve linked a few other look alike sets including one from Varley and one set of pjs from the Anniversary Sale that I would absolutely co-sign to wear with these sneakers.

Honestly feel this whole saga. the heartbreak of half-sizing down is too real. glad they’re back and cuter than even tho – that denim blue is sneaky perfect.
