The Nordstrom Sale has about one more week and some change left (ends August 3!) so I wanted to share some pieces that Bryan tried on and some he picked up! We looked at our local store so it wasn’t a ton of inventory / options but many of the brands he likes to shop were around. He ended up finding some more casual pieces and gym essentials, not so much things for work, but that’s ok! He couldn’t find any denim he loved so we passed on that as well as outerwear, too.

For reference: Bryan is 6′ and typically wears a medium or large in his tops, 32 or medium in pants and shorts.
Rhone Polo + Performance Shorts
Bryan loves the Rhone performance polos for a few reasons. A) they’re virtually wrinkle free so they’re very easy to wear traveling or at trade shows and B) they’re sweat resistant. That’s probably TMI but he isn’t here so he’ll never know. We’ve bought these tops before, not on sale, so grabbing one when it’s discounted was great.
Bryan is wearing the medium in the top and it runs pretty true to size. Rhone is up there with Varley or Vuori quality. I wash these tops on cold, hang to dry and they look brand new each time. Highly recommend. Find the top here.
Now he would typically wear this shirt with work pants to work or to travel in but here are some matching shorts also from Rhone. He is in the medium, fit is TTS. These are for the gym but this top is very versatile (another great reason for these polos, very easily interchangeable!) Find the shorts here.
Nike Logo Tee + Zella Shorts
This top is so cool, I wish they’d had it for women! It’s a royal blue but there are other colors as well. It’s a nice heavier weight cotton tee with an embroidered logo in the middle. He is in the medium, it runs loose / oversized. Find it here.
This pair of shorts he bought as well — this is the Zella Live in Shorts. He works out 5 times a week so we go through workout shorts a lot. This pair is a great price to pick up to add to the rotation! He is in the medium, TTS.
Bonobos Chino Pants
This pair of Bonobos is a great price! About 30% off and Bonobos is a great line of chinos, tops for men. They run pretty true to size, but I do think he went up a size in these pants as they fit a touch tighter than preferred. These have a really nice houndstooth check texture and will be so nice for fall / winter. Under $70!
He paired them with the: Nordstrom Pique Tee (TTS and under $30!) and then the Elwood Hoodie (TTS fit but oversized.)
Zella Pullover + Fleece Shorts + Performance Tee
This is basically B’s uniform in the fall! Easy pieces to wear on the weekends, to soccer games, etc. These pieces are a rich brown in a pretty mid-weight fleece. It was a nice feel / fit. TTS for all three pieces!
These Zella performance tops are under $25 and always an easy buy for us. They run TTS, if not slightly generous and they’re a nice gym basic. Find them here!
Elwood Essentials
Elwood is a new-ish brand to Nordstrom but if you are looking for easy basics at pretty decent prices, check out Elwood. (They also have women’s but I don’t think Nordstrom carries it.) Everything fits loose / oversized. He is in the medium of each piece. This tee is super super soft, has a small logo and is a heather oatmeal hue. Find it here!

This was a favorite look from B. It’s the matching set from Elwood, which also has a matching hoodie. This set washes out super well, by the way! He is in the medium of each piece as they run a bit looser / larger.
