Ah yes, another Reformation skirt; one of my favorite pastimes. I really do love Reformation when it makes sense for me. Do I want to buy all the pretty dresses from there? Yes I do. Does it make sense for me to do this? No it does not. I have no rhyme or reason to wear most of their collection. So instead, I’ll buy a $98 skirt every once in a while to get my Ref fix.
I did have a reason for this one — my birthday. It was last week and I decided this skirt was the one for my birthday dinner after trying on a million dresses at Nordstrom. Since then I’ve worn this outfit no less than 3 times, all with different shoes. But I think I like the suede flats the best. (I love these shoes by the way. They come the HIGHEST recommended.) When an outfit works, it just works. In fact, I’ve worn a variation of this outfit many times over the years! A sweater and a skirt just work so well together. Truly long lost besties.
By the way, this Quince sweater couldn’t be any more perfect of a match. The good news is this color ‘Heather Storm Blue’ is BACK IN STOCK, baby! At least in the mediums it is, which is what I’m wearing here. It runs oversized in the best way. Find it here.
