The white maxi skirt has been peeping in and out of summer for the last few years but this year I’ve been seeing it everywhere. From Quince to Madewell, I think it’s a trend that is going to stick around for a while. I like this one because it’s lined, it’s a super nice quality poplin so it keeps shape and of course, the pockets. It is a thicker fabric, so I can’t speak to how I’ll feel about it when it’s 100º out, but for now it’s perfect weight and I love that it’s not sheer. I think a maxi skirt is perfect to pair with summer’s simple tops. Think tees, tank tops, light sweaters if your weather can stand it. But with the shape and the structure of this skirt, it instantly looks chic. This and a nice white tank with layered jewelry? Perfection.
I am in the medium of the skirt — it definitely runs loose! Which I personally don’t mind, the waist is looser and with stretch. That alone makes this a win for me. I am in the medium and it fits great. Just keep that in mind, if you are in between sizes or if you have a slimmer waist, you may want to size down. Find it here in white or black!
