Why hello there! I’m back with what I wore this week. I’ve become so much better at snapping selfies (well and actually getting dressed) that I’ve advanced to what I actually wore this week. But I like the title of last week-ish, so it’s staying. Timelines don’t really matter, as long as I’m not walking around nude, that’s what truly matters.
Your casual queen is back at it with the denim and the sweaters. Lots of things are on sale this weekend too. Tis the season of sales, my friends. I may end up sounding like a broken record “this is on sale…this is on sale…” but I’ve always said if you want sweaters and coats this is the time to buy them than BFCM. We are not into coat season quite yet (next week I hope!) but we are in sweater season. So if you like sweaters…have I got a couple of selfies for you…

This one got last in the archives! Wore this a few Monday’s ago when we had a cold snap. Would love another cold snap so I can wear this jacket again. Feel free to leave stories of having an actual fall below.
I’m in the medium of the jacket — it’s reversible! Fit is TTS. I’m in the large of the sweater, it runs TTS. I’ve linked the Quince one here — you could do the speckled beige or the camel. I like both! I’m in the medium of the pants, they run slightly generous, lightweight and bouncy.

This sweater is STILL offline (big eye roll) but I have a feeling it’s for a black friday sale or something. (For the record — this EXACT one is the “100% Organic Cotton Boyfriend Crew Sweater”) I have zero inside information on this, but I’ve followed retailers long enough to know the tricks of the trade. I only bought this sweater a few weeks ago and it was full stock in like 20 colors. No way they’re out of stock. So I’ll keep an eye out but in the mean time I’ve linked a similar sweater at Quince in the exact same color. Find it here. (I’m in the large!)
My jeans are on sale! These are the barrel jeans from Madewell and some of my very favorite. They’re not too crazy on the shape and they’re very comfortable. They’re also very high waisted and I like that. You can take my skinny jeans, but you can’t take my high waist. I’m in the 29 I believe. They run a touch snug at the waist, but overall TTS. Found these trousers and LOVE them. I had low expectations, as I do, and they fit perfectly. I couldn’t believe it because I don’t always have a lot of luck with pants from Amazon. If I were to wear them with heels, I’d want them to be a bit longer, but with flats / sneakers they’re perfect. They hit right at the top of my shoes for a clean break. I’m in the large, fit is perfect with a slightly looser waist. Find them on sale here.

Side note — Got a new phone case! It has a longer chain too so I can wear it as a crossbody which is perfect because I typically run in places without my big ol’ purse. I also love it for when I go on walks. On sale here!

It admittedly wasn’t sweater and tights weather this week so I ended up changing out of the tights. But for a moment, in my air conditioned house, it was winter. This look also worked with just my bare legs, too. Just less wintery feeling.
My sweater is on sale at J.Crew! Tis the season of sales, huh? I’m in the large and it fits well, like a large. It’s a looser fit on me, so it’s a true to size sweater but if you want it loose, go up a size. Find it here.

This is the most comfortable sweater I swear. It’s like a blanket. It’s also very long but you can easily tuck it up and in because of the weight of the fabric. It’s a bouncy knit and also works well as a tunic with leggings. I’m in the medium, fit is big! Under $40 and so very cozy. I’ve worn it all week.

I’ve been trying to be better about putting my OOTD on IG this week and this one was one that made it! So you may have seen this one if you follow along over there or LTK. If not, this is new to you 🙂 I just love a pop of red still and this little crossbody did the trick with this brown. Now this color brown isn’t the same as the one in the listing, it’s more of an orangey-brown than a mushroom brown in the photo. I’m fine with it, as I prefer this color anyways. It was a rainy day yesterday but I finally got a chance to give my Old Navy trench a try. It’s such a cute little trench — the collar has corduroy lapels, adorable. I’ve linked another jacket here as well. I volunteered at my kid’s Thanksgiving lunch for a few hours which reinstated my admiration and respect for educators. God bless you all.
