9 Styles from Nordstrom You’ll Want for July

With the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is coming up, one would think that I would leave Nordstrom alone. But hear me out — what if you wanted something *not* for fall and for right now? I have a point don’t I? 😉 I found a few things under $150 for right now at Nordstrom.

Shop the Romper

I don’t know if this is going to thrill you upset you BUT this dress…ain’t a dress — it’s a romper! I for one don’t love an adult baby onesie but for this one, I will bend. It’s adorable you guys. 10/10 recommend — I love a unique piece and this one is blessing my enneagram 4 heart. I am in the large but it runs generous for sure! I will probs switch for a medium! Size down one.

The fabric is a nice cotton, a good weight — it has structure but isn’t too thick, perfect for summer. Also the back has a bit of an open back / toe situation but I still wear a nude color bra like a True and Co one and I’m fine with it showing.

Shop Zella Dress

I’ve been obsessed with “workout dress” this summer bc apparently this is my year of dresses. It’s all I want to wear, so I saw this one from Zella (Nordstrom’s in house activewear line) and thought why not?? It’s actually a really cute fit! I am in the large bc with Zella dresses / skirts I am a large. It fits spot on — so size up for curves. 

Now I don’t necessarily think this is actually a workout dress — I wouldn’t be active in it like train or workout in it. It’s a bit thin and short for me to feel 100% comfortable in the gym. However as a sporty outfit look? Hard yes. For a travel dress? Absolutely yes. So for me it’s a keeper but just as an FYI for a more coverage go for a darker hue. 

Shop the Linen Tank / Shop the Boho Maxi Skirt

Love this linen square neck top. Now I had to get the large size for my boons (do you see a running theme…well not *running* bc I’d get black eyes) otherwise I’d say it’s very TTS. I am in the large. It is on the short side, almost a crop of you’ve got a long torso. It does have a lower back opening but you can easily wear a regular bra with this top!

 I have been wanting a white maxi skirt with a boho vibe, easy to wear and this one checks all the boxes for me. I am in the large of this skirt and it runs a bit generously. I would say TTS overall, but note it’s a relaxed fit. 

Shop Farm Rio Shorts

Love these Farm Rio shirts! Definitely run true to size — I’m in the large and I love the fit. They have a relaxed fit but look very tailored. The back has a zipper for the closure and the belt is decorative. You can get the matching top but I love it with the darker top, just to give it a bit of weight. Super cute!

Shop Wide Leg Trousers

Y’all — these are amazing. They are very lightweight but not sheer! They have glowing reviews and I believe them all. I wish they were a bit looser in the waist but other than that they are such a cute fit. I am in the 10, perfect fit. TTS!

Nice weight for summer as well. Obviously still pants but they’re soft and they don’t really feel like fancy pants but they look the part. And that’s all that matters in my book 🤣

Shop the Free People Dress

Love this FP dress — it is light lightweight. I mean barely there 🥹 it’s a gauze like fabric but it does have full lining underneath. Honestly perfect for summer. Comes in a few colors as well! I am in the large for the length but otherwise it’s a pretty loose fit in general. The back can be adjusted with a drawstring and it is a tie back situation as well.

Okay so this is a Madewell dress via Nordstrom but I’ll link both so you can find more sizes! Love love this dress (100% this is in the capsule!) — I love a lightweight loose dress in high summer and THIS IS IT. I am in the large…prob could have done the medium but I wasn’t sure on the boobs. So definitely stay TTS and if you have smaller boobs, you could possible size down? 

For me the large is perfect — I  love this one!
